Western and Northern Europe Section

The section performs various tasks related to strengthening and developing bilateral and multilateral relations with the countries in Western and Northern Europe, which are members of the EU as well as the Common European Economic Space. It follows political, economic and other trends in these countries, placing special emphasis on their foreign policy priorities. The section also collects, analyzes, and prepares materials, information, and analyses. It prepares draft documents and materials for international and bilateral meetings and visits, it gives initiatives for contractual solutions to individual questions, it follows the implementation of international agreements, and participates in preparation of materials that the MFA gives to other state bodies.

Central Europe Section

The section performs various tasks related to strengthening and developing bilateral and multilateral relations with the countries in Central Europe.
