1990: Third Secretary, Department for Neighboring Countries in the Federal Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Belgrade;
1991: Counsellor, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and Secretary to the Slovenian Delegation at the International Conference on Former Yugoslavia;
