For Slovenian citizens

Visa is not required.

Slovenian citizen can travel holding a valid passport or a valid identity card.

For foreign citizens

Visa is not required.

Swiss citizens can travel to Slovenia also with a valid identification card (legal base: The European Agreement on Regulations governing the Movement of Persons between Member States of The Council of Europe, in force from January 1 2002). They may stay in the country up to 3 months but the purpose cannot be employment.
