For Slovenian citizens

Visa is not required.

For foreign citizens:

Visa obligation from 1 January 2000.

Exceptions:
- Holders of diplomatic and service passports of Macedonia do not require a visa for a stay of up to 90 days;

- Transit visa is not required for nationals of Macedonia, who are in possession of:

- Valid short-term visas, long-term visas and residence permits issued by a new member state (Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Malta, Poland and Slovakia) as stated in Annex 1 to the Decision No.895/2006/EC;
- A valid residence permit issued by Switzerland or Liechtenstein as stated in Annex 2 to the Decision No. 896/2006/EC.
