For Slovenian citizens

Visa is required.

Exceptions: - visa is not required for holders of diplomatic and service passports (Official Gazette RS No.42/94) up to 90 days, - visa is not required for Hong Kong and Macao up to 90 days.

For foreign citizens

Visa is reqiured.

Exceptions: - visa is not required for holders of diplomatic and service passports (Official Gazette RS No.42/94), - visa is not required for holders of passports of SAR Hong Kong and Macao up to 90 days.

On the basis of the agreement between the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, aliens residing in China may, as of 01.05.2007, apply for an entry visa for the Republic of Slovenia at the General Consulate of the Republic of Austria in Shanghai.
